POTS IN A BOX® is a registered trademark of DataRemote, Inc. It is proprietary DataRemote branding that refers specifically to DataRemote POTS replacement devices and solutions, including:

POTS IN A BOX® is not a generic or catch-all phrase for POTS replacement products.

Is “POTS in a box” a generic term for POTS replacement devices?

No. Although some competitors may use similar wording, POTS IN A BOX® is not a generic descriptor.

When used correctly, it identifies DataRemote’s POTS replacement product family and related solutions.

Can I use “POTS IN A BOX®” to describe non-DataRemote products?

No. Using POTS IN A BOX® to describe third-party products, services, or general POTS replacement solutions is not permitted and may cause customer confusion.
