Yes all CDS modems can use AT command to log onto the internet\1x\GPRS network in TCP or UDP mode by using AT-Commands. 

These commands work when the modem is standard mode waiting for an inbound circuit switch call\standard land line.  "Have your DTE device dial outbound via TCP or UDP using packet data.

This command is like sending a standard ATDT command to dial outbound using a standard analog modem.

Using the CDS modem to spoofing the device to dial a TCP type of connection onto the internet.  "See PAD "Packet assemble de-assemble"

AT+TCP=IPaDDRESS,PORT

The following commands will log you onto to the 1x\GPRS system.

AT+TCP=166.166.166.139,PORT,TIME you will see a connect message – in Modem Emulation mode.  "Turm on in Opton i"

 Example = AT+UDP=206.72.84.165,6000,2

Modem Emulation mode -The CDS act's like a Dialup\Dial-outbound standard AT-Compatible modem. This is calling Spoofing the DTE\indevice.

How do I tell the CDS to be in Server modem when using TCP? 

L = Server mode \ listen mode   “No L remote is in Client mode”

2000 = Port

5 = stay log on for 5 minutes  “Time refresh after every packet”

Make sure you have your User name and password program in 1x setup menu
